Media Information
The Columbia Fire Department is proud of it's affiliation with local and national media outlets; working together to provide vital information to the citizens of Columbia and mid-Missouri. Dedicated Public Information Officers (PIO's) work closely with the department command staff and media outlets.
We are proud members of the National Information Officers Association, NIOA, a peer group of fire, law enforcement, health care, and governmental PIO's dedicated to training efforts and professional standards.
