The weather has improved allowing GBH and the sub-contractors to form up the remaining foundation walls on Monday, April 14th.
On Tuesday, April 15th, concrete was poured in the remaining foundation forms and in several piers which will eventually support the structural steel in a mezzanine and up storage areas.
On April 16th, workers removed the forms from the recently poured foundation walls and poured a series of piers which will support the structural steel and the mezzanine storage area.
On April 17th, workers added insulating panels along the inner walls of the foundation before waste-lime fill is back filled into the void spaces. The excavation crew also worked on the exterior grading around the foundation walls. Plumbers began excavating for piping and some of the underground electrical supplies were delivered to the site.
April 18th, looks like a rainy day is on tap, so work may again be halted due to weather conditions.
