The seasonal & temporary jobs listed below are currently available. To apply you must fill out an official City of Columbia application form. Only seasonal aquatics & park worker positions must submit the required supplement sheet and proof of certifications. LIFEGUARDS	Parks & Recreation	$7.25-$8.75/hr	Must be at least 15 yrs of age with current National Pool & Waterpark Lifeguard Training certification required. Will work 5-23-11 to 9-6-11.	Until Filled
SWIM INSTRUCTORS	Parks & Recreation	$7.50-$9.00/hr	Must be at least 17 yrs of age with current American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor certification valid in Boone County. Will work 5-23-11 to 8-12-11.	Until Filled
WATER FITNESS INSTRUCTOR	Parks & Recreation	$11.00-$17.00/hr	Must be at least 18 yrs of age with AEA, USWFA or A-PAI certifications. Previous teaching exp preferred. Able to lift 25 lbs.	Until Filled
Community Recreation Workers	Parks and Recreation	$7.25/hr	COMMUNITY RECREATION WORKERS - $7.25/hr 4-6 positions available. Able to lift & carry sports gear. Must be at least 18 yrs of age & able to instruct at-risk low income children, youth & adults in rec programs. Transport participants from park to pool or on field trips. Will work June 8-August 12, 7 hrs day, Mon-Fri. Two shifts are available: 7:30am-2:30pm and 10:30am -5:30pm. Must possess valid MO Driver’s License.	Position Open Until Filled.
