Immunizations

Luckily, most adults today have never witnessed a case of diphtheria, measles, or other once-common disease now preventable by vaccines. As a result you might wonder why you or your children must receive shots for diseases that do not seem to exist. Because there can be a lot of confusion and misinformation about vaccines, the Columbia/Boone County Department of Public Health and Human Services has information available on the immunizations we can provide you. Besides the immunizations listed above, we also offer tuberculosis testing.

How much do immunizations cost?

There is a small fee attached to immunizations. However, no one will be turned away for the inability to pay.

Do I have to make an appointment?

Regular walk-in vaccinations are available every weekday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. For immigration purposes, please schedule an appointment.
