Currently, there is a lot of confusion and misinformation as to why you and your children are still advised to receive vaccinations for things like measles, diphtheria, and other formerly common diseses that are prevented by vaccination - even though you've never come into contact with them. The Columbia/Boone County Department of Public Health and Human Services believes in the motto: Prevent. Promote. Protect. - which certainly applies to vaccinations. Besides the immunizations listed above, we also offer tuberculosis testing.
There is a small fee attached to immunizations. However, no one will be turned away for the inability to pay.
You do not need an appointment for routine vaccinations. You can walk-in Monday - Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. For immigration purposes, please schedule an appointment.
