The Division of Human Services is a division of the Columbia/Boone County Department of Public Health and Human Services. Our work is focused on the causes and effects of social inequality, mainly in the areas of poverty and discrimination. (1) Address the causes and effects of poverty by purchasing, coordinating, and providing social services in our community.
(2) Eliminate discrimination through education and civil rights protections.
