The Purpose of the Local Medical Reserve Corps

Our purpose is to plan for, credential (IN ADVANCE OF ANY EVENT) and organize medical volunteers in Columbia/Boone County in preparation for events and activities in which volunteers will use their professional skills. Events and activities include local, regional or national emergencies and non-emergency activities like public health education & outreach.

Please NOTE: The Boone County Emergency Management Agency will notify public radio stations, like KFRU Radio (AM 1400), with emergency announcements.
