Welcome to the City of Columbia Fire Response Viewer. With this viewer you are able to search for an address and obtain fire response information about that address. You are also able to zoom and pan the map and left click once on a location to obtain its fire response information.

The information obtained includes: Fire Response Area of the location selected, the primary Fire Agency responsible for an area, the first due station for an area and the number of hydrants within 500 feet of the selected area. The first due station also provides a link to view that station's entire response area. Hydrant information is currently only available to those areas served by Columbia Water & Light.

A Fire Response area is a unique area where Fire apparatus (i.e. Quints, Ladders, Squads) respond in a particular order determined by the primary response agency.

When a citizen calls for assistance and their location is determined, The Fire Response area then allows apparatus to be quickly dispatched in the appropriate order to respond to the reported incident.
