In addition to programs included with membership and daily passes, the ARC offers the following special events and fee-based programs. The class schedules below are updated in conjunction with the publishing of the Leisure Times activity guide in March, August, and November.
Come learn more about this growing sport! Bring your own bow and arrows if you have them, or equipment will be provided. First class of each session will be held at the ARC, all others will be held at Powder Horn Gun and Archery Shop. Instructor Jim Sappington is an NRA certified coach, USA Archery Level 2 instructor and the lead instructor for the Missouri 4H club.

Build on the skills you learned in the beginning archery class! You'll learn more about bow maintenance, 3D shoots, Fita shooting and filed shooting. Discover the fun and mystery of birding with the Columbia Audobon Society. This beginner's class explores the four keys to bird identification, how to attract more birds to your backyard, and where local birding hotspots are. You will also learn how to use field guides and binoculars.

Join a local fly-fishing expert from Trout Unlimited to learn the art of fly tying. Participants will learn how to tie a few different flies and will be able to take home their finished products. All supplies will be provided.

Are you looking for a fun way to spend Spring Break? Don't miss Spring Adventure - a one-week day camp for children in grades K-5. Activities will include swimming, sports, and a variety of fun games and activities.
