In addition to programs included with membership and daily passes, the ARC offers the following fee-based fitness programs. The class schedules below are updated in conjunction with the publishing of the Leisure Times activity guide in March, August, and November.
| Take advantage of more fitness opportunities at the ARC with the addition of Human Sports fitness equipment. Instructor will teach your child how to successfully set-up and use each piece through demonstration and hands on training. | Start the year off with a new resolve! This program encourages you to stick to your goals and follow through. You have 3 months to make improvements in your diet and activity. Participants with the greatest percentage decrease in body composition will be eligible for three prizes. Prizes consist of 1 year free membership, 12 personal training sessions, or 40 visit specialty pass. A pre test week (Jan 14-18) and post test week (Apr 15-19) will be conducted on our Inbody 230 Body Composition Analyzer which is a $24 value. During the 90 Day Challenge, participants can take advantage of our 12 session Personal Training package at a discounted price ($320 Member, $430 Non-member). ARC members receive a $10 discount. |

| This one hour class is designed to instruct members on how to utilize the Cardio/Strength Training Zone equipment at the ARC. Certified staff will instruct proper techniques for using equipment as well as muscle groups being utilized. Training goals, safety, and exercise tips will also be available. Youth, ages 14-15, may be granted use of the upstairs fitness zones after completion of the orientation. This is a revocable privilege extended to youth who are serious about cardio/weight training. | ![]() |

A six week back to the basics class for people seriously committed to improving their health and fitness. Class combines cardiovascular activities with resistance training for a fun, group workout. You will never have a dull moment in this fast-paced, individually challenging class. Workouts are held in various environments such as outdoors, open gymnasium, weight room, etc. Lose inches, tone up, and feel better. Shock your body and get the results you deserve! Pre-registration is required. ARC members receive a $15 discount. (One day each week, $54, day care not included). |

Losing muscle is a part of aging, but it can be delayed through exercise and nutrition. Studies prove that seniors who participate in resistance weight training increase muscle strength. Class involvement also helps restore independence and flexibility after a series of weight training classes. Stretching, lifting technique, correct breathing, and machine adjustments are covered in this class. Don't let your fitness level keep you from taking the class. We will modify any exercise to fit your needs. A training regimen will be designed to allow members to work out on their own after completion. |

Designed for individuals 8 and up who are involved in athletic competition who desire to be in peak physical condition for the demands of competitive athletics. Workout regimens are tailored for any sport, by the mimic of movements and skills needed to excel in your sport of choice. Focus involves agility, coordination, endurance, explosive power, flexibility, lateral quickness, speed, strength, and reaction time. (Performance testing is not included with a 3 session package) Youth, ages 14 & 15 will be issued a Cardio/Strength Zone Pass. |

Spinning class is not just for adults, NOW we are offering it to teens too. This 45 minute class provides a fun challenging cardiovascular workout for all fitness levels. The instructor takes the kids on an exciting bike ride using great music and visuals. |

In this class you will find yourself surprised by the ease and extent of change in your movement you can achieve. The lessons can help you derive pleasure from simple everyday movement, regain mobility you though you had lost, and perform activities you haven't been able to do, without pain or effort. Based on the work of Moshe Feldenkrais, these movement lessons can be done by anyone who is able to get up and down from the floor without assistance. Four week classes for all fitness levels. ARC members receive a $7.50 discount. |

Body Composition is the amount of lean tissue compared to fat. It is a much better way to track your progress instead of the scale. Body composition analysis can determine how much muscle and fat are lost or gained as a result of your exercise method. Assessment takes approximately 10 minutes. A computer printout of results will be available. |

Testing protocol includes weight, total body water, intracellular & extracellular water, lean body mass, BMI, percent body fat, segmental lean mass (right & left arm, trunk, and right & left leg), fat control, lbm control, and basal metabolic rate, sub max VO2, flexibility, muscular strength, girth measurements, and calculated health risks. A comprehensive report is available for tracking your health and fitness needs. Wear comfortable clothing and make sure you are properly hydrated. Do not eat 2 hours before testing. Get your "Best Friends Forever" together and make your own Boot Camp at the ARC. A minimum of six people is all you need and you set the schedule; we will accommodate your group. (Camps are minimum 4 weeks, maximum 8 weeks). For best results we suggest meeting 2-3 times a week. We guarantee a lot of fun with tremendous results.
