The Parks and Recreation Department is proud to announce our affiliation with Dennis Goettel, PGA Professional, to provide golf instruction at our facilities. Our goal is to impart students ages 18 and older with the knowledge and physical movements needed for a repeatable golf swing.

Instructor Profile - Dennis Goettel, PGA Golf Professional
The accomplishments Dennis has obtained over the years are numerous. His playing achievements include MO State Amatuer Champion in 1977, Gateway Section PGA Champion in 1978, Gateway Match Play Champion in 1979 and qualified and played in the 1980 US Open Championship. In 2006, he received the honor of Gateway PGA Teacher of the Year and followed that distinction with 2007 Gateway Jr. Golf Leader. Dennis has lived in Central Missouri for the past 30 years.
