Project Notes: CDBG funding was approved and budgeted for this project at the August 2, 2010 Council Meeting. Ordinance to appropriate funding for the project was approved at the December 20, 2010 Council Meeting. Council approved project on July 5, 2011. The City also executed a new new land use agreement with Columbia Public Schools on June 11, 2011.
Project Status: New climbing wall installed. Completed demolition of old shelter and sidewalk. Completed construction of new shelter and sidewalks. Renovated concrete picnic tables and seats. Exercise station bid has been awarded. Item to complete: receive order and install exercise equipment replacements.
