C.M. Albert Memorial Park

20 Acres
(Included in the 81.5 acres of Albert-Oakland Park)

In 1964 Paula nd Majorie Albert donated a 20 acre tract to the City of Columbia for parks and recreational purposes. The tract was donated as a memorial to C.M. Albert. As a condition of the donation, the 20-acre park parcel was to be named C. M. Albert Memorial Park. This 20-acre park resides in the south portion of Albert-Oakland Park.

C. M. Albert Memorial Park can be accessed from Parker Street from the south, from Bear Creek Trail from the west, and by the hard-surface trail from the north.
