A remote control vehicle race track has been constructed in Cosmo Park. This track was designed in cooperation with the Columbia Thunder R/C Club and includes approximately 700 linear feet of dirt track plus a warm-up area.
RC enthusiasts will enjoy the opportunity to try their devices on a series of jumps, banked curves and a boulder climbing wall. Future possibilities for the area include an additional asphalt track, an elevated control tower and potential club-sponsored competitive events.

(Please note: remote control aircraft are not permitted in Columbia city parks.)
