Project Description: Due to school expansion, Hickman is relocating and expanding to a new six court tennis complex. The cost of the new complex is estimated at just under $500,000. The School District will manage the project. Parks and Recreation will provide funding assistance for the project in return for the courts being made available to the public during non-school hours. These are the only public tennis courts available to the First Ward residents.

Other Information: Agreement with CPS
Project Status: The agreement with Columbia Public Schools was approved at the December 2, 2013 Council Meeting. The City will reimburse the school for its portion after completion of the project.
