Interested Parties Meeting(s): An interested parties meeting was held from 6-7pm on December 15, 2009 at the Lake of the Woods Visitors Center with 12 people in attendance. A second interested parties meeting was held from 6-7pm on Thursday, January 28, 2010 with 15 people in attendance.

Project Notes: Park planners devised a proposed plan for the park improvements. An interested parties meeting for the public to view the proposed plan and provide input is was held on December 15, 2009 at the Lake of the Woods Visitors Center. Park revised the proposed plan based on public input. A park planning meeting was held on January 28, 2010 for citizens to review the revised proposed plan and offer comments. A public hearing was held and the project received approval to proceed at the March 15, 2010 Council Meeting.

Project Status: East playground and west playgrounds have been installed and construction of cul-de-sac and sidewalk on the east side of the park is completed. Installation of the dog park fencing is underway.
