A land donation from Jeff Smith gave Columbia Parks & Recreation 50.29 acres in northeast Columbia. The site is located immediately southwest of the intersection of Brown Station Road and Waco Road. The development of Smith Park is on the list of projects to be funded by the 2010 Park Sales Tax and is tentatively scheduled for Fiscal Year 2014, pending the public hearing process and City Council approval.
