Project Description: Renovation of the Blind Boone Home to include interior restoration, minor exterior repairs, and landscaping. Work will be accomplished with a combination of contract, volunteer and force account labor. The Blind Boone Heritage Foundation donated $16,500 for the landcaping portion of the project.

Blind Boone Home, 10 N. Fourth Street
Status: Project was approved at the June 3, 2013 Council Meeting. Staff met engineer on site in to assess settling of floors and safety of stairs. Staff is in the process of entering into an agreement with Pendulum Architects to complete the artchitectural design work for the renovations. Staff is also entering into an agreement with Byndum, Stanton and Associates to assist with project development and serve as a contractor liaison.
