Trail - .40 mile, asphalt
Lions-Stephens Park
104 North William Street
Map of Lions-Stephens Park

This 0.40 asphalt trail that circles the 15-acre Lions-Stephens Park was designed primarily for use as a physical fitness exercise circuit, but may also be used for walking and jogging. The park is located approximately two blocks north of Boone Hospital Center and may be accessed from either William or Walnut Streets. The fitness trail will be getting a much needed face lift over the next couple of years. Six new fitness stations were installed in 2011 to replace the outdated old wooden stations. Renovation of the asphalt trail and replacement of the remaining fitness stations are funded in Fiscal Year 2012.
