- Interested Parties Meeting: All interested parties for the Grasslands and Eastport Neighborhood Parks are invited to a meeting to review and comment on the revised proposed park master plans. Meeting will be held 6-7:00pm, Thursday, May 15, 2008 at the ARC, 1701 West Ash.

- Financial Assistance: The Financial
Assistance Program was created to provide economically
disadvantaged individuals access to recreational
facilities and programs. Applications are available
for Youth Enrichment Services Program (YES) with
the primary focus on youth between the ages of 2-17.
Financial Assistance for Adults (AFA) 18 years of
age and over was passed by City Council on February
7, 2005.
Applications are available online or at the downtown Parks & Recreation office
located at 7th and Broadway.
