Boone County Historical Society
Located in Nifong Park, the BCHS oversees a large complex that includes the Walters-Boone County Historical Museum, the Montminy Art Gallery, the Wilson-Wulff Library, and the Maplewood House.

Farmers' Market
The Columbia Farmers' Market is located off Clinksales Road between the ARC and West Junior High School. This fresh produce market opens early in April on Saturday mornings, 8 a.m. to noon and continues through the third week in November. In June the market is open on Monday and Wednesday afternoons, 4 to 6 p.m.

Finger Lakes State Park
Finger Lakes State Park located north of Columbia on Hwy 63. Former strip pits for swimming and limited boating. Allows off-road motorcycles and all-terrain vehicles.

GetAbout Columbia
GetAbout Columbia is the agency administrating the $22,000,000 federal funds awarded to Columbia for the Federal Highway Administration's Non-Motorized Transportation Pilot program. The purpose of the program is help build infrastructure and establish national standards for public awareness and willingness to use active, non-motorized modes of transportation.
