The City of Columbia's Consolidated Plan was adopted
on October 18, 2004. This plan documents the housing
and non-housing community development needs in the
City of Columbia; that could be addressed with funding
through the Department of Housing and Urban Development
and other public funding sources. The preparation
and submittal of the Consolidated Plan to the U. S.
Department of Housing and Urban Development is a requirement
for receiving HUD funding.
Copies of the Consolidated Plan are available at the
offices of the Department of Planning and Development,
located on the second floor of the City Building at
7th and Broadway. The office is open between the hours
of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Copies are also available
for review at the Daniel Boone public library.
