Community Action Team (CAT)

Mission Statement

The Columbia Police Department is committed to the community policing philosophy and working in a proactive partnership with the citizens of Columbia. The Community Action Team's primary goal is to resolve livability issues within the community, using various traditional and non-traditional methods. By assisting beat officers, empowering the community, and involving a variety of city departments and social service organizations, the Community Action Team will enhance and improve the quality of life in Columbia.
