Community Services Unit

The Community Services Unit is part of the Community Operations Division, supervised by Captain Zim Schwartze. I supervise the Community Services Unit. Five police officers and a civilian employee are assigned to it. Listed below are the members of the CSU and their primary program responsibilities. The Community Services Unit is responsible for crime prevention education, public relations and the general support of Special Operations and the Patrol Division. The Community Services Unit supports popular programs such as Crime Free Programs, Neighborhood Watch, Citizens' Police Academy and Citizens On Patrol. The Community Services Unit also provides service to the community in the form of bank robbery training, commercial and residential security inspections, robbery prevention, commercial security programs, sexual assault prevention, tours, public speaking and much more.
