Adopt-A-Spot Litter Control

Have you seen the "Adopt-A-Spot" signs around town? The Columbia Public Works Volunteer Program sponsors a litter clean up program in our city. Here's how to get started:

• contact the Public Works Volunteer Program or sign up online
• select a clean up site or choose from a list of Public Works suggested sites
• fill out a simple form
• a two-year commitment required
• safety vests, gloves and bags provided

One-time volunteer opportunity

The Public Works Department welcomes groups or individuals interested in a one-time cleanup effort or people interested in linking up with others to maintain a site.
