In the Blue Bag (Container Materials Only) - Glass Bottles and Jars, Aluminum Cans, Metal Food Cans, #1 and #2 Plastic Containers
Residential customers will receive a Voucher in April, August, and December each year to redeem for blue recycling bags. If more recycling bags are needed, Columbia residents may request another voucher for additional blue recycling bags at no cost. |
Empty motor oil containers are not recyclable and should be placed in the black trash bag designated for the landfill. Used motor oil, anti-freeze, and batteries will not be picked up curbside. These items may be brought to the Household Hazardous Waste Facility at 1313 Lakeview Ave., 9am to 1pm on the first and third Saturdays, April through November.
