Household Hazardous Waste Collection

Hours of Operation: The facility is open on the first and third Saturdays of April through November, 8:00 a.m. to noon.  (Note: these are new hours for 2011)

Columbia residents may take their household hazardous waste products  to the Columbia Public Works Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Collection Facility. No hazardous products are collected curbside.

Are you in need of paint, cleaning products or pesticides? Visit the "Swap Shed", open Monday 1pm to 5pm and Tuesday through Friday 8am to 5pm at 1313 Lakeview Avenue. The Swap Shed contains reusable items collected from Household Hazardous Waste Collection Days, like cleaning products, pesticides and paint, and are available for citizens free of charge.
