Working together to provide professional, environmentally safe solid waste services for the community.
Public Works Solid Waste continuously strives to improve customer service and satisfaction. We are upgrading our processes and software to improve customer access to solid waste services and information. As a result, customers might notice slight differences in how we answer phones and process requests. We appreciate your business and look forward to this opportunity to improve how we serve new and existing customers.
The Drop-off Recycling Center at Patricia's Foods, 900 North Keene Street, was closed on March 31, 2015. We will begin searching for a new site to serve the area. In the meantime, Home Depot, 3215 Clark Lane (just across I-70 from Patricia's) has allowed us to add two (2) additional bins to their site. You can find the location of other Drop-off Recycling Centers by clicking here.
Columbia Public Works would like to hear from our customers concerning The Future of Solid Waste. Our Solid Waste Utility is facing challenges. Challenges we need your help with.
