The Street Division provides maintenance for over 500 miles of streets, snow removal on all City Streets, mechanical and manual street cleaning, mowing of public right-of-ways, and utility service cut repairs. Continued emphasis is given to our street maintenance program, including asphalt overlay and seal coating of improved streets.

Summer hours are 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. (beginning the Tuesday following Memorial Day and ending the second Friday in September).
If telephone lines are busy or you are calling after hours for a non-emergency situation, leave a voice mail message detailing the situation, your name, address, and telephone number. Street Division personnel will return your call. Examples of non-emergency situations include potholes and street name signs.
Emergencies are potentially hazardous conditions that constitute a danger to human beings or could seriously damage individual property. Examples would be trees down across street blocking passage; flooding in streets; icy streets; and damage to streets such as buckling, large potholes, service cuts that could cause vehicular damage.GFor after hours emergency situations, call Joint Communications at 573-442-6131.
