Transportation For Mizzou Students

Transit photo Memorial Union

We know where you want to go!

The free Brown Route Stops: throughout the MU Campus, connecting to Downtown Columbia ("The District"), Columbia College, Boone Hospital Center and University Hospital.  Also stops at Wabash Station, your connection to all other Columbia Transit routes.

The Gold Route Stops: Connecting Brady Commons to The Reserve, Campus Lodge, Campus View, Gateway, and other apartments along Old Highway 63, Grindstone Parkway and Nifong.  The Black Route connects The Cottages and Log Hill to Downtown. The evening route is not a free service, individuals living in these apartments will be required to pay the regular bus fare.

Now students living off campus can escape the hassle and cost of parking at MU. The Gold Route runs hourly between Brady Commons and student apartments along Old Highway 63, Grindstone Parkway and Campus View Apartments.  This commuter route runs only when you need it to get to classes:  Monday thru Friday during MU Fall and Winter semesters.  When parking is a little easier to find -- evenings, during semester breaks and the summer semester -- the route ceases operation.  Catch the Gold at the south side bus stop, facing east, across from Brady Commons. Students living at the Reserve, Campus Lodge and Gateway can ride free on the Gold Route with their apartment issued IDs.  The Black Route serves those living in The Cottages and at Log Hill.

FastPasses Available : Students may also purchase passes called a FASTPass for the full semester unlimited rides. Passes all good on all Columbia Transit buses. The FASTPass is available only at the Wabash Station, Monday through Saturday, 6:25 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Bicycles on the bus: Take your bike along for the ride -- for free!
