The historic Wabash Station is the main hub of Columbia Transit. The Station underwent extensive renovations in 2007. Originally built and opened in July 1910 as the Wabash Train Station, the Station is celebrating it's 100th Anniversary in 2010. Renovations included the addition of a new administrative annex, expanded waiting area in the historic depot, a covered walkway extended out the back and two pieces of artwork created by local artists David Spear and Don Asbee as part of the city's percent for art project. On July 16, 2010 we celebrated the 100th birthday of this beautiful, historic building.
