Welcome to the City of Columbia Public Works Department! The Public Works staff is dedicated to providing customer-friendly service while maintaining the City’s infrastructure, protecting the public's safety and the environment, and providing transportation opportunities to residents and area businesses. Our Mission, Vision and Values statements and Strategic Plan guide our efforts. We are an American Public Works Association (APWA) accredited agency.

2015 Holiday Refuse and Recycling Collection Dates
Trash and recycling collection will be delayed one day following these 2015 holidays with the exception of the observed holiday date for Independence Day, Friday, July 3 -
Please do not set trash and recycling materials out on these holidays and please do not set trash and recycling materials out until after 4:00 p.m. the day prior to your collection day. Help us keep Columbia Clean.
