Office Hours and Information Fair
When: Wednesday, May 6, from 5–7 p.m.
Where: Activity and Recreation Center, 1701 W. Ash Street
What: Citizens can visit with City Council members on issues important to them, including FY 2010 budget priorities during the following “Council Office Hours.”
Ward 2 - Jason Thornhill, 6-7 p.m.
Ward 3 - Karl Skala, 5-7 p.m.
Ward 4 - Jerry Wade, 6-7 p.m.
Ward 5 - Laura Nauser, 6-7 p.m.
Ward 6 - Barbara Hoppe 6-7 p.m.
Mayor Darwin Hindman - 5-6 p.m.
*Ward 1 Councilman Paul Sturtz is unavailable due to scheduling conflict.
Information fair
Information about home, neighborhood and community resources will be available from the following departments: Environmental Health, Finance, Neighborhood Response specialists, Neighborhood Watch, Parks and Recreation, Planning, Protective Inspection, Volunteer Services and Water & Light.
Neighborhood Congress
When: Wednesday, May 6, from 7–8:30 p.m.
Where: Activity and Recreation Center, 1701 W. Ash Street
What: City Planning and Development Department will talk with citizens about neighborhood participation in local planning. Topics include the development process, public improvement projects, traffic management, code enforcement and public safety.
