Street closure for Rollins Road

COLUMBIA, MO (June 24, 2010) - The city of Columbia Public Works Department announces that beginning Tuesday, July 6, at 7 a.m., Ed Laubinger Excavating L.L.C. will temporarily close Rollins Road between West Boulevard and Greenwood Avenue to replace a manhole for the Westwood Addition sewer improvement project.

This work will result in a temporary detour. The work should be completed and the road fully reopened on Thursday, July 15, at 7 p.m., weather permitting. All homes in this area will remain accessible at all times. Motorists and pedestrians are urged to exercise extreme caution when in the construction area and use an alternate route whenever possible.
