City Council will hold FY 2011 budget work sessions

COLUMBIA, MO (August 25, 2010) - When:
Saturday, Aug. 28, from 8 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Monday, Aug. 30, starting at 6 p.m.

Where:
Both days - Conference Rooms 1A and 1B, City Hall, 701 E. Broadway

What:

Aug. 28 - City Council will discuss budget informally. City Manager will facilitate. Department directors will attend but not make formal presentations.
Aug. 30 – City Council will continue budget discussions, possibly providing further direction for city staff to prepare budget amendments.
Public is invited to attend and observe.

The City Council will take additional comments on the budget at its regular meetings on Tuesday, Sept. 7 (accommodates Labor Day holiday) and Monday, Sept. 20.
