GetAbout Columbia will install median on College Avenue

COLUMBIA, MO (August 6, 2010) - The city of Columbia Public Works Department announces that on Monday, Aug. 9, the Street Division will begin installing a median on College Avenue, at Ash and Windsor streets, as part of the new GetAbout Columbia bike boulevard project. Once the median is installed traffic will be a right-in, right-out from Ash to and from College Avenue. Windsor will be right-out only onto College. Traffic will not be able to enter Windsor from College Avenue.

Motorists should use extra caution when driving on College Avenue while crews are working in the median. The work is expected to be complete by Friday, Aug. 13, weather permitting.
