Striping city streets

COLUMBIA, MO (September 30, 2010) - The Public Works Department announces that line striping will begin on several city streets Monday, Oct. 4. Crews will mark lanes from 7 a.m. through 7 p.m., including the weekend. Work should be completed by Oct. 11, weather permitting.

Streets to be striped include Broadway, Leslie, Ponderosa, Roger I Wilson, Old Route K, Old Hwy 63, Fifth Street, Rogers, Walnut and West Boulevard. Motorists encountering the paint-striping equipment should avoid crossing freshly painted lines and use an alternative route whenever possible.
