Columbia Public Works announces that the sidewalk on the south side of Broadway, between 7th and 8th, will be closed on Friday, January 18 between 8 am and 5 PM to allow a private contractor to remove holiday lights and materials from the exterior of Boone County National Bank.

Pedestrian access to the businesses C.J.'s and The Canvas on Broadway will be maintained.

In addition to the sidewalk closure, parking restrictions in metered spaces on the south side of Broadway between 7th and 8th will be in place.

Pedestrians should cross to the north side of Broadway between 7th and 8th to detour around the closure. Motorist and cyclist should use caution in the area.
