Two Columbia Water & Light electric line crews will be assisting Boone Electric Cooperative's restoration efforts today and possibly tomorrow. They will be working nearby in case there are any issues with the Columbia electric system.

Power was restored to all Columbia Water & Light customers by 5:00 pm on Tuesday, February 26. If there are customers that experience a power outage or need to report a downed utility line, they should call 573-875-2555.

Around 4,000 Columbia customers were without power at some point yesterday. The heavy snow caused tree limbs to bring down electric lines. The largest outage happened from 5:30 am to 8:30 am on Tuesday when two circuits were down. Smaller outages continued to be reported throughout the day.
