Advancing Renewables in the Midwest conference

Over 15 speakers will address issues surrounding programs, policies and projects that are at the forefront of renewable energy. Select topics include: community solar, Kansas City's 'Green Impact Zone', tracking carbon neutrality and trends in bio-based energy.A solar workshop for utility professionals will be held in the afternoon by the Solar Electric Power Association. The ninth annual conference is hosted by Columbia Water & Light, the University of Missouri Atmospheric Sciences department and the Missouri Department of Economic Development - Division of Energy.
The cost of the conference is $60 for the general public and $110 for energy professionals. After April 4, the cost goes up to $75 and $125 respectively.
