COLUMBIA, MO (February 14, 2011) -

The city of Columbia Public Works Department announces that on Wednesday, Feb. 16, the signal lights at the intersection of Eighth and Broadway will be down temporarily while a new signal cabinet is being installed. This work will result in temporary all-way controlled stops at this intersection for most of the day Wednesday. Power to the signals should be back late Wednesday. Motorists and pedestrians are urged to exercise extreme caution when in the work zone and use an alternate route when possible.
