Homeworks Home Maintenance Training, a free informational program for homeowners and other interested individuals, will be held Saturday, March 10, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in conference room 1A of City Hall, 701 E. Broadway. The program will cover:

• Basic home repairs
• Do-it-yourself or hire a contractor?
• Preventive home maintenance
• Insulation and energy efficiency

A question-and-answer period will be held after the program.

Registration is required; space is limited. Those interested may enroll on the city's website at www.GoColumbiaMo.com under "What's Happening" or by calling 874-7244.

Individuals currently on the city's housing rehabilitation waiting list are eligible to receive a free home maintenance guide book (one per household). Other attendees may purchase a book for $25 (cash or check only).
