The Columbia/ Boone County Department of Public Health and Human Services is now accepting applications for a limited number of free tickets to the upcoming Roots N Blues N BBQ Festival. The tickets were made available to the city's low-income residents through a contractual agreement with the festival's sponsor, Thumper Entertainment.
Online and in-person applications must be received by 5 pm this Friday, September 14th. Winners will be randomly selected on Monday, September 17th and will be notified by phone or email. Applications are available online at www.gocolumbiamo.com/Health/ or at Public Health and Human Services, 1005 West Worley in Columbia.
All applicants must be current city of Columbia residents with a household income less than 185% of the Federal Poverty Level. Limit one application per household with a maximum of four tickets given per household. Children 12 and under do not need a ticket to attend the festival.
