Public Communications serves as a communications link between the city of Columbia’s municipal government and the citizens. The Public Communications Office coordinates several programs that are designed to link citizens with their city government.

Partners in Education is a program designed to enhance the learning process for students and city employees through mutually beneficial programs and activities. The City has entered into partnerships with Columbia Public Schools and Columbia Catholic Schools.
