Adopt-A-Spot Beautification Beds available for YOU!
If you are interested in adopting a site please email us so we can include you on our "interested list." We will send you an email notification when any new, or existing, beds come available for adoption.
Chapel Hill Bed 5: a median bed with flowers planted at each end, a section of flowers mid-median, and a large stretch of grass that will, ideally, be mowed by the adopter. This is the fifth bed in the median on Chapel Hill heading west from Scott Boulevard. While none of the Chapel Hill beds are connected to water, they are already planted with grass & perennials that do well without watering in normal conditions, and only need maintenance going forward; no new planting should be necessary, but you're welcome to put your personal touch on them as well.
Rte B at Highway 63: a median bed located off of Paris Road, just south of Highway 63 Interchange. This bed has some plants, but you're welcome to put your own personal touch in it as well. Water is available.
Scottson Way: This well established bed is located at Scottson Way, south end. This bed needs an adopter to maintain existing plants and no new planting should be necessary. While there is not water available in this bed, it has established perennials that do well without watering in normal conditions.
Stadium/Westwinds: This bed is located at the Pedestrian Walkway from the intersection of Stadium/Forum to Westwinds Park. This bed has older landscaping and is in need of a complete makeover! In order to be successful, we recommend the adopter mow or weed eat the grass around this bed. Water is available.
West Broadway at Fairview NW Corner: This is an established bed with a variety of perennials installed. It needs some TLC but is in a high traffic location with lots of potential!
