links citizens with opportunities to share their time with city government. The office recruits, places, tracks and recognizes volunteers for their efforts.

Park Patrol Events

Special events are an opportunity for Park Patrollers to volunteer outside of their self-scheduled patrols. These events allow volunteers to help in important and unique ways. Each Park Patrol volunteer is encouraged to help with at least one of these "special assignments" during a calendar year. It is important that Park Patrollers are identified with their t-shirt or vest when helping at these activities.

Polar Plunge -- Stephens Lake Park, Saturday, February 18, 2012

Are you available to help at Stephens Lake Park on Saturday February 18th for a couple of hours starting at 1:00pm?

Some assistance will be needed to keep things running smoothly for this big, fun community event. There will be a lot of participants and spectators, so you'll be keeping parking lot traffic moving and organized. You'll need to meet Ranger Rosanna Arens at the Gordon Shelter in Stephens Lake Park at 1:00pm. It's important that you wear your Park Patrol t-shirt or vest when helping at these activities.
