Cleanup Columbia is scheduled for Saturday, April 11, 2015.
What is Cleanup Columbia? Cleanup Columbia is a city-wide trash pick up event where hundreds of local residents work together to make our city a more beautiful place. The city will provide volunteers with trash bags, gloves, safety vests (where needed) and help you find a trash pick up location. Volunteers pick up trash in the morning and are asked to start no later than 10 a.m. Columbia Public Works will pick up your filled bags. This is a wonderful event for individuals and groups of all sizes and people of all ages and abilities. There will be a thank-you picnic to celebrate your efforts afterwards, sponsored by APAC-Missouri!
Beautiful weather made picking up litter more pleasant for the 18th annual CleanupColumbia, a city-wide trash pick-up event. The City’s Volunteer Programs staff reports that 1,350 volunteers participated, logging 2,950 hours of service and picking up 1,549 bags of trash. This is based on reports from 47 groups.
More than 1,670 volunteers from 138 groups including individuals, families, and organizations registered to participate. Results for Cleanup Columbia will be updated as more groups report their efforts.

What to do with supplies after the cleanup: Please drop off at City Hall, 701 E. Broadway along with your response card. You may leave supplies at the reception desk.
