Cleanup Columbia is scheduled for Saturday, April 11, 2015.
What is Cleanup Columbia? Cleanup Columbia is a city-wide trash pick up event where hundreds of local residents work together to make our city a more beautiful place. The city will provide volunteers with trash bags, gloves, safety vests (where needed) and help you find a trash pick up location. Volunteers pick up trash in the morning and are asked to start no later than 10 a.m. Columbia Public Works will pick up your filled bags. This is a wonderful event for individuals and groups of all sizes and people of all ages and abilities. There will be a thank-you picnic at Twin Lakes Recreation Area to celebrate your efforts afterwards, sponsored by APAC-Missouri!

Registration is handled through our Volgistics software. Those who participated in Cleanup Columbia 2014 are in our system; your email is your login name and you can request a password by clicking "Forgot Password." Thursday, April 9 - 3-6 p.m. at the Grissum Building, 1313 Lakeview - bags, gloves & vests only - T-shirts will not be available at this pick up time.
Friday, April 10 - 11 a.m. - 5 p.m. at Rock Quarry House. 2002 Grindstone Parkway - T-shirts will be available for pick up while supplies last!
Saturday, April 11 - 7:30 - 9 a.m. at Rock Quarry House, 2002 Grindstone Parkway
About t-shirts: We are not requesting t-shirt sizes in advance this year. We will have t-shirts available only at Rock Quarry House starting at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 10. T-shirts will be distributed first come, first serve and we will provide shirts for the number of volunteers you anticipate for your group. Remaining and returned shirts will be available at lunch at Twin Lakes Shelter after the cleanup.

What to do with supplies after the cleanup: Please drop off at City Hall, 701 E. Broadway or at the Grissum Building, 1313 Lakeview, along with your response card. You may leave supplies at the reception desk.
Results from 2014: Beautiful weather made picking up litter more pleasant for the 18th annual Cleanup Columbia, a city-wide trash pick-up event. The City’s Volunteer Programs staff reports that 1,380 volunteers participated, logging 2,803 hours of service and picking up 1,572 bags of trash.
