Railroad Advisory Board

Advises City Council on operation and needs of the Columbia Terminal and shippers to ensure the sound and efficient management of said rail line. Minimum qualifications for this seven member board are a knowledge and interest in either railroad, shipping, transportation or business for the principle of municipal ownership and operation of branch line rail operations. One member shall be appointed from those businesses or firms that routinely ship or receive goods or raw materials over said branch line. Length of terms is four years, with openings occurring in July.
