This program was developed to help our industrial customers meet the world-class maintenance requirements of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO 9000-14000). Our power quality analysis coupled with an infrared thermography inspection are designed to meet the Preventative and Predictive Maintenance needs of Computer Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).

What will items are covered in a power quality analysis?

Columbia Water and Light will visit your facility to monitor and provide trend analysis of:

voltage
current
frequency
power factor
harmonics

Our staff will assist in finding the source of harmonic distortion and recommend solutions. We can also help identify the source of unbalanced loads and a leading or lagging phase shift in voltage or current. A Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) can also be conducted.

How can an Infrared Thermography Inspection help?

Columbia Water and Light business customers can receive a free infrared thermography inspection to find problematic equipment before it causes downtime. An infrared inspection can reveal hot spots in a number of areas:
