Columbia Water & Light logo

Please e-mail us for a copy of the Columbia Water & Light logo or call 573-874-7325. Below are the logo guidelines that must be followed when using our logo. You can also download the logo guidelines in a .pdf file.

Standard Color Water and Light Logo

Color palette

The preferred standard color for the Columbia Water & Light logo is dark blue, composed specifically from the CMYK model of C=100, M=62, Y=0, K=50 (In RGB, R=28, G=27, B=104). PMS colors are Pantone 295 coated, or 294 uncoated.

In black and white presentations, it may be produced all black or reversed out of a background. Shades of gray may be used provided there is enough contrast for legibility. All other colors must be approved by the Columbia Water & Light Communications
Department. There is no approved multi-color presentation of any kind.

Clear space size Water and Light Logo.

Clear space and size

The logo should be surrounded by enough clear space for maximum impact and legibility. The minimum amount of clear space should be a rectangular area around the logo, with space equal to a unit based on the height (at the top and bottom) and the width (at the sides) of the logo’s leterform “A” in “Water.” No other graphic elements should enter this rectangle of free space. Additionally, the minimum size the logo may be reproduced in print is 1.25 inches wide.

Digital files

In print, the logo should appear at 300 dpi; vector artwork can also be used. The logo should never look pixelated or grainy because of low resolution. For the web, the logo may appear at 72 dpi. A common mistake is to try to use a logo created for the web for print output. This will result in too low of a resolution.

For digital copies of the logo, e-mail the Columbia Water & Light Communications Department or call (573) 874-7325. Let us know if you would like a .tif file or an .eps file and if you need it in blue, black or white.
